🎤 Keynote Speaker: Dr. Shu-Pei Oei
Dr. Shu-Pei Oei, Global IP Team Lead, European Patent Attorney and UPC Representative has been invited to deliver this keynote address, which is tailored to the needs of next-generation IP Managers.
Dr. Shu- Pei Oei serves as Global IP Lead at a leading Austrian multinational organization. A European Patent Attorney with more than a decade’s experience in patent prosecution in the electronic and automotive industries, Shu-Pei is also a qualified ISO 9001 Quality Management Lead Auditor. Shu-Pei advises organizations on IP Leadership, Quality IP Management, and IP Risk Management. She holds an LL.M in Law and IP Management from CEIPI, University of Strasbourg, a Ph.D in Engineering from Cambridge, an M.Sc in Electrical Engineering from Stanford, and a B.Eng in EEE from UCL, UK (1st class).

As the Vice President of I3PM, Bastian Best is not only our esteemed host but a dynamic professional with a rich background in the field. Starting his career with a degree in computer science, Bastian’s journey led him to the German patent law firm Bardehle Pagenberg, where he honed his expertise in patent law. In May 2021, Bastian founded his own patent law firm, BESTPATENT, focusing on helping companies navigate the complexities of patents in the digital transformation era.
